How does TraderVerdict score prop firms?

Every prop firm is scored against TVSM, our public, versioned methodology that rates 17 weighted variables — profit split, drawdown model, payout caps, pricing transparency, regulatory standing, and operating stability among them — using only primary sources. The variables, weights, and band thresholds are published on our methodology page, and each score links to the evidence behind it.

Are TraderVerdict reviews and articles independent?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We score and write about firms before any commercial relationship exists, and affiliate links are only added to firms that clear our editorial bar. A firm cannot pay for a higher score or to remove a critical finding; the verification trail is the product.

How often does TraderVerdict update its scores and articles?

Accepted Answer

Scores are re-verified periodically and whenever a firm materially changes its terms. Every change is recorded in an append-only changelog, and scores shown in articles are derived live at render time so the number you read is always the current one.
